The parish of Harlescott is to the North of the town of Shrewsbury. As the parish has grown over the past decades so the church has grown to serve its’ community. We have two Church buildings which are home to two worshipping communities. The Church of the Holy Spirit on the Sundorne side of the parish is the older and longer established and the more recent worship centre is Emmanuel Church on the Heath Farm, Mount Pleasant/Grange side of the parish.
As a parish we seek to offer varied styles of worship to suit all ages. We try to balance the more traditional styles of worship with some of the vitality which more contemporary styles have to offer. We also have Messy Church, which is a relatively recent initiative across the country. Messy Church offers expression of belief in God for all the family through craft, song, story and also eating together.
The main Sunday services at both churches begin at 10.00am, lasting about 45-60 minutes and followed by refreshments.
